Safeguarding

Rokeby School are committed to the safeguarding, well being and welfare of all children and young people. We expect all staff and visitors to share this commitment. Our staff have a responsibility to follow the schools safeguarding procedures and take appropriate action, this may include working with other services such as Children’s Services and the Police as and when required.

If you suspect a child is at risk of harm, you must report it to our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mrs Lucia Sanderson (Head of Lower School) – l.sanderson@rokeby.org.uk. Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads can also be contacted directly using the details below.

Early Help

Caring for children and  young people can be challenging. It is important to seek support if needed in providing children with the necessary care and stimulation they need to help them thrive. On the AfC website you will find details of a range of local support.

If you are concerned about a child, please contact the Single Point of Access.

If you have any concerns about an adult working with children, you can contact the LADO (Local Authority Designated Officer).
