School Council

Hello, my name is Maximilian, and I will be Head Boy for 2026/2027.

I have been at Rokeby since Reception and have spent eight amazing years here so far, and I hope to make my last one memorable.

As Head Boy, it is my role to work with Mr Peck and the other members of the School Council to improve the school. It is important that everyone has a voice when it comes to sharing ideas about how the school could be improved. I believe there should be more communication between the School Council and the rest of the school.

For me, communication means listening, really listening, to what pupils want and need, and being someone you can actually go to, not just a name on a noticeboard. I will also aim to provide regular updates on the suggestions you have made and the progress being made towards them.

Being Head Boy is not something I take lightly. I am really looking forward to a year in which I can give back to a school that has given me so much.

Hello, my name is Hugo and I am honoured to be this year’s Deputy Head Boy.

I have been at Rokeby since Reception and have enjoyed every aspect of school life. From the amazing teachers, who have helped me along the way to achieve my goals, to opportunities to travel and try new things, Rokeby has provided so many opportunities.

I am excited to be working with Mr Orpen-Palmer and other teachers involved in the School Council. It is an opportunity to give back to the community that has always supported me. Being part of such a welcoming community is what makes Rokeby such a fantastic place to learn and grow with your friends.

Hello, my name is Charlie, and I am very pleased to be the Year 6 Prefect for 2026/2027.

I joined Rokeby in Year 1 and have enjoyed it since my first day. The atmosphere at Rokeby has always been warm. As the Year 6 Prefect, I will listen to Year 6’s suggestions for the School Council and ensure they are represented fairly during meetings. I am looking forward to helping Year 6 and applying as many of their ideas as possible.

Hello, my name is Arjun, and I am delighted to be the Year 5 Prefect this year.

Joining in Reception, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Rokeby. Rokeby has provided me with so much support and encouragement through teaching, co-curricular activities and many resources. My goal this year is to help Year 5 have the most enjoyable year possible and represent their views and suggestions.

Hello, my name is Kai, and I will be the Year 4 Prefect this year.

I have had the privilege of being part of this warm and welcoming community since Year 3. As part of the School Council, it is my job to help make Rokeby an even better place for us all. I am determined to make the very best of this role, and I hope we have a thriving year together, filled with fun and excitement.

Hello, my name is Nicholas, and I am proud to be this year’s Year 3 Prefect.

I have been at Rokeby since Reception and have loved every moment of it. As the Year 3 Prefect, I can support Year 3 pupils and spend time with them. As a member of the School Council, I will work to make Rokeby the best it can be by listening to your suggestions.

Hello, my name is Devan and I am this year’s Bazalgette House Captain. I value this responsibility deeply.

I have been at Rokeby since Reception and will endeavour to give this role my absolute best. I will have communication and resilience within the School Council. I will support Bazalgette this year with my determination and encourage them to win house competitions.

Hi, I’m Jack, and I am very excited to being House Captain for Galsworthy this year.

I have been at Rokeby since Reception and have loved every moment of it. As part of the School Council, my role is to help lead Galsworthy to be the best house it can be. If anyone has suggestions to make Rokeby even better or engaging, they can always speak to me.

I started my Rokeby journey in Reception. I am honoured to lead Moody House this year and to make Rokeby even better. As Moody House Captain, boys can come to me with suggestions, which I can put forward in meetings and champion new ideas.

I joined Rokeby in Year 5 and I am extremely happy to take on this role, as I believe I can make a positive difference to the school. I hope to make a positive difference to Rokeby and to contribute ideas that will help the school continue to improve while also keeping the traditions and qualities that make Rokeby such a special place.
