At Rokeby, we provide care for boys outside of the school day.
In addition to our numerous extracurricular sports and clubs, we also offer wraparound care through our Breakfast Club and After School Care.
Breakfast Club
After School Care
The After School Care aims to provide a relaxed yet stimulating environment after a busy day at school. It gives boys an opportunity to socialise with their peers and enjoy a range of activities that cater to varying interests and ages. Boys can also use an outside space (weather permitting). After School Care costs £6.80 per session.
Reception – Year 2
Boys in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 can use this facility from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Years 3 – 8
Boys in Years 3 to 8 can use this facility from 4.05 pm to 6.00 pm.
A quiet area is available where boys can complete their homework independently, with an adult present.
Food
Boys staying between 3-4 pm will be offered a healthy fruit snack.
Boys staying from 4-5 pm will receive a more substantial snack. This will be a cold platter prepared by the kitchen, including pasta, pizza or veggie rolls, fresh fruit, vegetable sticks, squash, and water. Boys staying between 5-6 pm will receive sandwiches and yoghurt or jelly.

Pupils can also take part in a varied programme of lunchtime, before-school and after-school clubs. Current clubs include Judo, Mixed Martial Arts, Rock Squad, Fencing, Chess, Dungeons and Dragons, Horticulture and Video Game Design. The club programme changes regularly, so the activities available may vary. Pupils are also placed in one of Rokeby’s four houses: Bazalgette, Galsworthy, Moody and Olive.
