Which senior school did you attend?

I won a John Colet Award to St Paul’s School, where I thoroughly enjoyed my time and made the first XI for cricket in my final year.

Where are you now?

I am studying Engineering Science at Magdalen College, Oxford.

What is your fondest memory of your time at Rokeby?

The Sri Lanka cricket tour in Year 7 was probably one of the best memories of my time at Rokeby – playing cricket with friends and just having an all-round amazing experience

How did your teachers or friends at Rokeby inspire or influence you during those years?

Miss Mason was amazing – she transformed my English at Rokeby and gave me the great enjoyment of the subject that I took to St Paul’s. Similarly, Mr Attenborough’s riveting History lessons inspired a passion for the subject.

Did you face any challenges during your time at Rokeby? How did overcoming them shape who you are today?

My biggest challenge was pushing myself towards the academic scholarship in my final year and dealing with the increasingly difficult workload. Through that I developed organisational skills and a work ethic that has served me well in the years that have followed.
