Year 5 had an unforgettable day at Winchester College, packed with exciting discoveries and new experiences! Their adventure began with a fascinating Ancient Greece workshop in the college museum, where they got to handle genuine Greek artefacts and step back in time to explore life thousands of years ago.

The boys also enjoyed a tour of the stunning college campus, taking in its impressive facilities. One of the biggest surprises was the incredible ant colony in the science building, which proved to be a firm favourite!

The excitement continued in the college’s brand-new sports hall, where everyone had the chance to tackle the climbing wall. There were plenty of determined climbers, with several boys reaching the very top to celebrate their achievement.

It was a fantastic day full of learning, adventure and fun, as well as a wonderful opportunity to experience life at one of the country’s most prestigious senior schools.
