Our recent team-building trip was a fantastic success and an unforgettable experience for all the boys in Year 5. Set in the heart of the woods, the day gave the boys a wonderful opportunity to work together, build new skills, and enjoy the outdoors.

One highlight of the trip was learning how to build and safely manage fires. Working in small groups, the boys demonstrated excellent teamwork, communication, and perseverance as they gathered materials and supported one another throughout the process. After successfully building their fires, the boys turned their attention to preparing lunch. They made their own pizza dough from scratch, then carefully cooked their pizzas over the open flames. It was rewarding to see their sense of achievement as they enjoyed food they had prepared and cooked themselves. Throughout the day, the boys embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

They showed resilience, cooperation, and leadership, strengthening existing friendships and forming new connections along the way. The trip was a valuable reminder of the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, and stepping outside of our comfort zones. We are incredibly proud of how the boys conducted themselves and the mature, supportive manner they displayed throughout the day.
