Every two years, Rokeby boys shortlist and vote for the school’s House Charity, which we then support by holding mufti days, cake sales, and other events at school.
From September 2025 – July 2027, we are supporting Kingston Hospital Charity.

About Kingston Hospital Charity
Kingston Hospital Charity is committed to improving the quality of care and the experiences for all who use Kingston Hospital or the services our local NHS Trust provides across our community – patients, families and staff.
The charity works closely with Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust to identify ways that support from local people and organisations can improve patient care and treatment outcomes. Supporters enable to:
- Provide the little things that make a big difference, as they can go a long way to reducing anxiety and promoting recovery, in addition to making a patient’s stay that bit easier and more comfortable
- Rebuild and refurbish to create patient-centred spaces designed to deliver the best care possible; purchase medical equipment to enhance diagnosis, improve treatment and deliver better care
- Support the health and wellbeing of NHS workers
- Fund medical research and innovations to improve patients’ current and future health.

Smart, Skilful and Kind in Action
Every Christmas, we visit Staywell Services’ residential care home in New Malden, Raleigh House. Our Choir sings carols to the residents, and we distribute hampers of treats collected by the whole school community. During December, the boys also collect food for the Kingston Foodbank to help make Christmas a little more cheerful for local families experiencing hardship. Each Rokeby House competes to collect the greatest number of items.
2024-2025 Charitable Giving
In 2024-2025, we supported Rainbow Trust for the second and final year. The boys raised an incredible £4,855, bringing the total donated to the charity across two years to £9,220.
Music For All received £324.35 collected at our annual carol service. Rokeby boys from a range of year groups participated in the Knight Frank Schools Triathlon and raised a colossal £8,204.41, split between Restless Development and Rainbow Trust.
