As part of their Future Skills unit of work on sustainability, Year 7 boys recently visited Kingston town centre to explore how the local area supports environmentally friendly living and where improvements could be made. The boys investigated transport options, green spaces, recycling and local businesses, considering how sustainability can shape communities of the future.
Following the trip, pupils will be putting their ideas into action by writing letters to Sarah Olney MP, sharing their thoughtful suggestions on how Kingston could become an even more sustainable place to live and visit.
