Sports Day at Kingsmeadow was a memorable celebration of athletic achievement, House spirit and the Rokeby community. Middle and Upper School boys from Years 3–8 competed with enthusiasm and outstanding sportsmanship across a wide range of track and field events, with several school records falling.

A remarkable sprint double saw Ugo N setting new records in both the 75m (11.21) and 150m (23.63). Another outstanding performer, Hugo W broke school records in the 300m, 600m and cricket ball throw, the latter with an incredible throw of 41.8m, surpassing a record that had stood since 1995. Charlie C also produced a stunning sprint double, breaking the 100m and 200m records with times of 12.71 and 26.41 respectively.

The House relays provided a thrilling finale, with Moody overturning Galsworthy’s morning lead to claim overall victory. The day was made even more special by the support of parents, staff and returning Year 9 Rokeby leavers, creating a fantastic atmosphere and a fitting end to the school year. Congratulations to all the boys for their determination, teamwork and excellent efforts throughout the day.
