Year 2 looked fantastic in their archaeologist costumes! The boys started the day with an assembly about the riddles of the Sphinx and then enjoyed a practical storytelling workshop in which they acted out stories of Ancient Egyptian gods. Later on, they created their very own pyramid and headdresses. A very special visitor Howard Carter (Head of History, Mr Attenborough) spoke about the different types of pyramids, the Valley of the Kings, and hieroglyphics. Year 2 also created their very own cartouches.
