The overnight camping trip at RSG, led by ‘The Outdoors People’, was a memorable highlight of the year for Year 4. The boys embraced the opportunity to spend time outdoors, taking part in a range of activities that developed confidence, teamwork and independence. They learnt practical outdoor skills, tackled collaborative challenges, cooked over open fires and crafted bronze pump drill pendants using traditional techniques. Evenings around the campfire fostered friendships and a strong sense of community. Despite the rain, the trip was a rewarding experience that built resilience, cooperation and a lasting appreciation for the outdoors.
