Our Year 1 boys thoroughly enjoyed their recent trip to Wisley Gardens as part of their Planting and Growing topic. On arrival, the boys took part in a guided workshop, which included a magical walk through the woods. They had great fun searching for buds, flowers, fruits and seeds, bringing their classroom learning to life. The workshop concluded with each child planting their own nasturtium to take home.
The boys also enjoyed stretching their legs as they walked to the lookout point and explored the beautiful wisteria tunnel. The trip was a wonderful opportunity to deepen their understanding, and it was fantastic to see such enthusiasm throughout the day.
