Our Year 2 boys have thoroughly enjoyed delving into Greek mythology during our English lessons over the past few weeks, with a particular focus on the story of Theseus and the Minotaur. They were fascinated by the adventure, bravery, and mystery in the tale, and it sparked lots of thoughtful discussions about the moral of the story. Although art can feel challenging for some children, all the boys showed great determination and tried their very best, which was wonderful to see. During our art lessons, the boys explored the character of the Minotaur in greater depth, thinking carefully about what he might look like. They then brought their ideas to life, drawing and painting their own unique interpretations of the mythological creature.
