This week, our Year 7 boys showed off their knowledge of cells (with some great specialised cells) and combined it with baking skills – hearing Year 7 boys use words and phrases like ‘peroxisome’ and ‘Golgi apparatus’ was impressive – this went beyond what we had taught in class. If you look closely, you might even see some rough endoplasmic reticulum, accurately positioned near the nucleus for some efficient protein synthesis!
