Year 7 Stratford-Upon-Avon Trip

Year 7 enjoyed an interesting and varied trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon in the penultimate week of term. A lunch stop at Blenheim Palace enabled them to soak up the history of Winston Churchill’s ancestral home before arriving at our two Premier Inn hotels in time to watch the first half of England v Germany in Euro 2020. We missed the second half due to dinner at Carluccio’s!

On the second day, we visited Warwick Castle, taking in a breath-taking falconry display before heading to Cadbury World where far too much chocolate was bought and consumed! Dinner was at Pizza Hut as it was on our third night.

On the third day, after everyone had tested negative for COVID-19, we headed to Alton Towers. The boys were very brave, attempting all the fast rides and many new friends (cuddly) accompanied us on the coach back.

The last day gave us a chance to have a river cruise, do some last-minute souvenir shopping and have an ice-cream break. All in all, the boys had a great time and had lots of tales to tell on their return!
