Year 7 Nower Wood Trip

Year 7 enjoyed their recent trip to Nower Wood. This is a long-standing trip for Rokeby School and it involves the students doing all sort of practical activities relating to ecology. From using quadrats to measuring the pH of water, Year 7 generated a lot of data which will form the basis of a homework project that the boys will try after the exams. The joy of doing it at this time of year is seeing the intense blue of the bluebells dominate several large stretches of ground under the trees. Beautiful.
