Thursday 3rd March saw Rokeby celebrate World Book Day along with the rest of the UK, but actually, our celebration extended across the week with our World Book Day quiz, House Escape Room competition, the Poetry Take-Away van, and our book swap. The whole school (staff included) participated in gusto and it was fabulous to see everybody dressed up on the actual day, and engaging with all things English.
Special thanks must go to the English team (Mr De Courcey, Mrs Huxley, Ms McLean, Mrs Britland and Ms Corry), Miss Lewis (for her Escape Room), William P (English Captain), Kian K (Poet Laureate) and Dougie B (Athenaeum Captain) for their extraordinary efforts.
I think this was the best celebration yet!
