Volunteer Morning at Manor Park

Two Rokeby boys, Nicholas in Year 3 and Sebastian in Reception, helped out their local community last weekend when they volunteered with Manor Park Friends. They took on the job of litter pickers and were amazed to find an umbrella, bottles and cans along with dog waste bags discarded in the bushes.

Manor Park Friends is a local group who do fantastic work such as rejuvenating paths with wood chip, tidying railway bridges, raking wildflower meadow areas, as well as crowning trees in the Memorial Meadow.

If you would like to get involved they meet regularly and are always looking for volunteers. More information can be found here.
