Community and Charitable Donations

Thank you to all parents, staff and boys who have generously contributed to our recent community efforts. Boys across the school have penned thoughtful yet entertaining letters to our local elderly community, which are already being received by new pen-pals in Galsworthy House, Kingston Care Home, Arbrook House in Esher and Raleigh House in New Malden. I have been so proud to read each letter and know they will have made such a difference in a time of social distancing and isolation from loved ones.

Our foodbank collection has also been over-flowing, blocking the main entrance almost! Thank you to Mrs Sheikh, our Class Rep in Year 3, for organising the transport of these donations. We have also been able to donate to Raleigh House Day Centre, who are distributing donations to their members in their own homes. These will all make a huge difference to those most vulnerable in our community.

If you would like to continue donating, food and toiletries can be dropped off at Raleigh House in New Malden directly. The Trussell Trust website also has information of local collection points for Kingston foodbanks and other banks in your local vicinity.

Thank you, not only for helping and donating, but for highlighting the kindness and compassion that we are able to show others in need. A great message and example for our boys.
