Chamber Choir and String Quartet perform at the MFY Regional Festival

The boys who sing in the Chamber Choir (four of whom also play in our String Quartet) were invited to perform at the Music for Youth Regional Festival in Camden on Friday 28th February.  The boys travelled by train on a rainy London day to Cecil Sharpe House to perform alongside 5 other schools and groups from around London which included orchestras, string ensembles, choirs, and steel pan groups.

The Chamber Choir sang two pieces for the audience and received some wonderful feedback on their maturity and ability to sing so well in three parts.  The String Quartet played wonderfully, completely self-led, and the feedback was on how well the boys performed each piece stylistically as well as their musicality.

Well done to both groups.
