ICT

We equip boys to use computational thinking and creativity to create programs, systems and a range of content.

In our weekly ICT lessons we place an emphasis on building confidence in our boys’ use of a range of computing devices and software. Pupils become digitally literate – able to use and express themselves through information and communication technology.

Underpinning boys’ learning is a strong cross-curricular approach. ICT is integrated into the timetable curriculum across the school. Each classroom is equipped with an interactive white board and a computer and we are in the process of phasing in Apple TVs and iPads for staff and boys. Laptops are also available to support learning in all curriculum areas.

Our boys are introduced to ICT from their first few days in Reception, through the use of the interactive whiteboard with their class and independent use of laptops within the classroom.
