Footsteps Charity Assembly
Posted: 22/02/2010
Footsteps Charity attended Assembly today Pre-Prep sponsored nine children in Magunga, in most cases helping them move from the edge of survival to attending school for the first time. For the boys of the Pre-Prep, the chance to exchange letters, drawings and photographs with children in Kenya was a fun and rewarding experience. Ms Thomas from the Footsteps Charity presented an album to Mrs Wingrove in today’s assembly full of drawing and photographs of the nine boys who have been sponsored. The pictures also included photographs of the boys and school in action. Footsteps continues its work in the villages that Rokeby supported. More information can be found on the charity’s website www.footstepsuk.org. or click here to view more photographs of the nursery and medical centre.
